Colombo (News1st) – Cinnamon cultivations in multiple districts have been exposed to difficulties due to the rapid decrease in prices.
According to Cinnamon farmers in Rathnapura, Galle, and Matara, the prices of Cinnamon has been declining over the past several months. The farmers stated that Cinnamon which was sold at Rs 3500 a kilogram 5 months ago is now being sold at a rate of Rs.1500 – 2000 per Kg.
