COLOMBO (News 1st) – Police in Mihintale recovered 700 boxes filled with narcotic pills, from a house in the Samagipura area.

According to the Mihintale Police Division, the boxes weighed 10.5 kg and had a street value of Rs 140, 000. The dealer was a 27-year individual and he had been selling these pills from his residence.

He was arrested at his residence on the 24th of the August. The suspect was remanded until 28th of this month after he was presented before the Anuradhapura Magistrate court.
