Colombo (News 1st): The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has reduced its Policy Interest Rates. The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) announced that the decision was reached after the Monetary Board met yesterday (August 22).
Accordingly, the Standing Lending Facility Rate (SLFR) of the Central Bank has been reduced from 9% to 8%, while the Standing Deposit Facility Rate (SDFR) has been reduced to 7% from 8%. However, no change has been made to the CBSL’s Statutory Reserve Ratio (SRR).
