Judicial Medical officer arrested for alleged terrorist activities

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Judicial Medical Officer attached to Palei court, Jaffna has been arrested on alleged connection to terrorist activities. Police Media Spokesperson, SP Ruwan Gunasekara noted that he was arrested by the Sri Lanka Army and was handed over to the (Terrorist Investigation Division)TID, Jaffna. The 41-year-old suspect has two separate residences of his own in Chavakachcheri. SP Ruwan Gunasekara added that he is being detained at the Jaffna Police Division.
