Sajith Premadasa assures agreement to bring youth charter into parliament

COLOMBO (News 1st): Three Uda Gammana projects were vested with the people in Tissamaharama, Hambantota today (August 15). The event was held under the auspices of Deputy Leader of the United National Party Minister Sajith Premadasa. The 249th, 250th, and 251st villages were vested with the public today (August 15) under the "Semata Sevana Yali Pibidena Uda Gammana" program. These villages were named Saru-Thuru-Liya Gama, Soba-Nilla-Gama and Saara Haritha Gama. Rs. 63.6 million was spent on the three villages comprising of 71 houses. Land deeds to 71 owners and 71 development lands worth Rs. 53.2 million were also distributed in line with the main event. The UNP Deputy Leader, Sajith Premadasa said that he will make room for the youth of the country to make decisions and have a say in the matters of the contract that he is creating for them. He further assured the people, that an agreement will be made in such a manner so as to bring the youth charter into parliament a reality along with a program for the youth.
