Internship registration for doctors to begin

Colombo (News 1st): The Ministry of Health states that registration of internship for doctors appointments will commence from tomorrow (August 16). According to the Deputy Director-General of Medical Services Dr Lal Panapitiya, applications are being called for over 1,500 appointments. Internship appointments and registration are conducted by the Sri Lanka Medical Council. He also stated that the Ministry has received the official results from the University Grants Commission a few days ago after the completion of the final year examinations of government medical colleges and universities. Dr Lal Panapitiya stated that appointments will not be made until all the faculty results are received.
