Reuters - A group of 24 volunteers claimed that they found the body of 15-year-old Nora Anne Quoirin, giving details in a statement on Wednesday (August 14). Volunteer hiker, Sherley Yup, said their group was assisted by a local Indian man who lives in the area. On Tuesday (August 13) they had searched the area close to the Dusun resort where Quoirin went missing; separating into two groups when walking down the stream. At around 1.40 pm (0540GMT), the person in front spotted the body in a stream and immediately called the police without entering the scene. Police on Tuesday identified the body as belonging to 15-year-old Nora Anne Quoirin, 10 days after she went missing from a rainforest resort in Seremban, about 70km (44 miles) south of the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur. Results of an autopsy are expected later in the day, police said.
