17-year-old's life claimed due to domestic dispute

Colombo (News 1st): A 17-year-old teenager who was admitted to the Balangoda Hospital following an assault succumbed to his injuries last night (August 12). The teenager was assaulted when he intervened to solve a domestic dispute. The father of the victim was immediately arrested by Police. The boy was rushed to the Balangoda hospital on the 05th of August and was later transferred to the Ratnapura Hospital where he passed away during treatment.
