Wellawatte brawl injures 6

Colombo (News1st) - 6 people suffered injuries and were hospitalised in a clash between two groups in the Wellawatte area. According to the Police, the crash occurred between a group of construction workers and a group of residents. 3 police officers as well as 3 of the individuals involved in the clash suffered injuries and were admitted to the National hospital and the Kalubowila hospital. Police suspect that the clash occurred as a result of a drunken argument escalating.
