Colombo (News1st) – The GCE Advanced Level examinations commenced this morning. The examination will be held until the 31st of this month.

The Department of Examinations notes that 337,704 candidates will sit for this year’s A/L examination. 2,678 examination centers have been set up to conduct the exams.

Candidates will have to present either a valid national ID, a valid passport or a valid driving license in order to be eligible to sit for the exam.
