Jamathei Millathu Ibrahim Anuradhapura leader arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st): Anuradhapura district leader Mohommad Ismail Mohommad Salman of the JMI (Jamathei Millathu Ibrahim); the now-banned organization, has been arrested. Police media spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara said that the arrest was made by the Ampara police based on intel received by the State Intelligence Services. The arrested individual has been identified as a resident of Sampathgama in Kahatagasdigiliya. He has also allegedly received firearm training with Mohommad Zahran in Nuwara Eliya.
