UPDATE: Over 60 yet receiving treatment following Waskaduwa head-on collision

COLOMBO News 1st: Over 60 people are still receiving treatment at the Nagoda General hospital in Kalutara after sustaining injuries in a head-on collision between a CTB and another bus at Waskaduwa in Kalutara. A hospital spokesperson stated that some of the injured individuals have been taken in for surgeries. Six people were reported dead in the fatal accident that occurred at around 5.15 this morning (August 4).  Three women are among the deceased. The accident took place when a CTB bus traveling from Elpitiya to Colombo had attempted to overtake another vehicle.
