Colombo (News 1st): An accident took place when four vehicles collided with each other at Ibbankatuwa in Galewela on the Dambulla – Kurunegala main road. The accident had occurred when two lorries, a three-wheeler, and a car collided with each other.

News 1st correspondent in the area said the lorry travelling from Galewela to Dambulla lost control and hit three other vehicles which were travelling in the opposite direction. Five passengers were injured and admitted to the Dambulla Base Hospital.

The Galewela Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
