Colombo(News1st) – Department of Examinations states that all seminars and extra classes in relation to the GCE A/L examination are to be prohibited from midnight today (29 July).
The department further stated that all seminars and extra classes in relation to the Grade 5 scholarship exam will be prohibited from Wednesday, July 31st. Furthermore, bans are scheduled to be in effect until the end of both the exams.
In accordance with this ban, preparation and conducting extra classes, lectures, seminars, workshops and every possible form of academic institution targetting the indicated examinations will be completely prohibited.
The Commissioner-General of Examinations, Sanath B Pujitha stated that strict legal actions will be taken against all those who violate this ban.
The GCE A/L examination will begin on August 5th and the Grade 5 scholarship exam will be on the 4th.
