Wedding ends in murder in Monaragala

COLOMBO (News 1st) - During a wedding that took place yesterday (July 26) in Gadolbadda, Monaragala, a 42-year-old person was clubbed to death. The police said that the murder was a result of an escalated dispute. The deceased has been identified as a resident of Monaragala. Both parties were identified to be heavily under the influence during the murder. The suspect was arrested over the incident. Further investigations are ongoing.
