"People want Gotabaya as next presidential candidate"

Colombo (News 1st): Convening a media briefing in Colombo today (July 24) UPFA MP Pavithra Wanniarachchi noted that where ever they go people want Gotabaya Rajapaksa to be the next presidential candidate. She noted that it's not a decision that was taken at the Rajapaksa's tea table. She added that the joint party leaders had a meeting and they identified their presidential candidate. The parliamentarian noted that since she is in charge of the ladies she attends the events around the country. She noted that the innocent people in the villages who have a good knowledge of the political situations want Gotabaya Rajapaksa to be the presidential candidate. Therefore it is her opinion that Gotabaya Rajapaksa should be their presidential candidate.
