Eight night mail trains cancelled tonight

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Railway Control room states that eight night mail trains scheduled to travel tonight (July 20) have been cancelled. The decision was taken due to maintenance activity being carried out on all railway lines except for the area that falls between Polgahawela and Pothuhera. The eight trains that were scheduled to travel to and from Colombo Fort to Kankesanthurai, Batticaloa, Talaimannar and Trincomalee have been cancelled.
