Two arrested with foreign currency at Maligawatta

COLOMBO (News 1st): Two suspects have been arrested with a stack of foreign currency in Maligawatta. The police said that Rs. 8.8 million worth of foreign currency was recovered from the suspects' possession. The two suspects aged 31 years are residents of Maligawatta and Kolonnawa. The seized stack of money consists of Japanese Yen, Canadian Dollars and Sterling pounds. The suspects are due to be produced before courts.
