Car-Free zone in Colombo 7 tomorrow : Special traffic arrangements

COLOMBO (News 1st): The transportation in several roads of the Cinnamon Gardens Police division in Colombo will be limited tomorrow  (July 14)  from 6.00 am to 12.00 noon. The decision has been taken in line with the "CAR FREE ZONE" programme initiated by the Colombo Municipal Council together with the Netherlands High Commission. Thereby, transportation along the Greenpath, Dr C. W. W. Kannangara Mawatha, the Independence Mawatha, Maitland Crescent, Sri Lanka Padanama Mawatha, Sir Marcus Fernando Mawatha will be halted. The police urge the public to make use of alternative routes during this time period.
