No-confidence motion against government on 10th

COLOMBO (News 1st) - It has been decided at the Party leaders meeting to take up the no-confidence motion against the government on the 10th and 11th of July. An adjournment debate on the State Lands Special Provisions Bill is to be held this Friday(July 05). Chief Government Whip Gayantha Karunathilaka informed News 1st that the draft bills that were to be presented for the second reading on that day will be postponed and that the bills will be presented to the cabinet of ministers following the recommendations of the President and consequently presented to the Attorney General.
