COLOMBO (News 1st): 433 individuals have been arrested for driving under the influence in an islandwide raid.

The arrests were made between 6.00 am yesterday (July 6) and 6.00 am today (July 7). The islandwide raid to apprehend drunk drivers was initiated on July 5th.

Thereby 796 individuals were arrested for driving under the influence within the past 48 hours.
