Ranil's latest operation is 90 days fast track : Mahindananda Aluthgamage

Colombo (News 1st): Speaking at a media briefing convened by the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna today (July 03) UPFA MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage noted that the Ranil's latest operation is 90 days fast track. The parliamentarian noted that the Prime Minister has asked that within 3 months, that is 90 days, that they make as much as possible. He added that the government is presenting all the agreements they made with foreign entities and getting them passed in parliament. He predicted that the government will present the new land bill on Friday. MP Aluthgamage said if they hadn't gone to court against it, this bill would have been passed within 7 days. The parliamentarian went onto note that there will be 5 cases today and tomorrow and through it, they are hoping to find a temporary solution. He pointed out that the government have also planned to bring pro-federalist legislation to parliament, be it win or lose. He said within these 90 days, the plan is to bring in a number of motions on banks and lands. He stated that they are aware that when it comes to the US agreements, nobody has said that they will not sign those agreements. Aluthgamage stressed that the government is trying to sign deals that will betray this country and he noted that as the opposition they will make a serious effort to end this 90-day fast track.
