9-hour water cut for several areas in Galle

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Water Supply and Drainage Board stated that a 9-hour water cut would be in effect for several areas of the Galle district today(July 02). The Water Board added that the water cut will commence at 8.30 am for the areas of Baddegama, Halpathota, Sandarawala, Ganegama, Mahagoda, Nagoda, Memaduma, Gonapeenuwala, Thelwatta and Kalpe today (July 02). It was reported that a maintenance procedure at the Baddegama water treatment plant has led to the water cut.
