NWSDB announces a water-cut to Colombo and suburbs

Colombo (News 1st): The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced that water supply to several areas in Colombo will be disrupted for 15-hours commencing from 9 am tomorrow (June 22). Accordingly, water supply to Colombo, Dehiwela, Mt.Lavinia, Kotte, Kaduwela Municipal Council areas, Maharagama, Boralasgamuwa, Kolonnawa Urban Council areas, Kotikawatte, Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Sabha areas, Ratmalana and Soysapura Housing Scheme areas will be affected by the water cut. The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said that the water supply will be disrupted due to power supply interruptions by the CEB for improvements and essential maintenance activities in the Jubilee transmission and Ambatale intake pump house.
