Motor accident claims lives of 5 and injures 12 in Kolakanawadiya

Colombo (News 1st): Five persons died and 12 were injured in a motor accident in Kolakanawaadiya along the Batticaloa - Welikanda road. Police noted the accident occurred when a tractor collided onto a van earlier this morning (June 19).  Four women were among the victims. The injured have been admitted to the Polonnaruwa hospital for treatment.
