Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith tours Zion Church

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Archbishop of Colombo, His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith engaged in a tour of the Zion church in Batticaloa today (June 15). The Catholic devotees who sustained injuries in the 04/21 attacks, were also present at the church to receive the blessings from the Archbishop where he engaged in inquiring into the wellbeing of the devotees. Following his tour, His Eminence speaking to the media said that the purpose of his visit was to spread love and brotherhood among those who left the world and among those who sustained injuries. He further said that he hopes such unfortunate incidents will not happen once again in the country or any other country and that he sincerely wishes for freedom, peace and harmony between all communities.
