INTERPOL red notice leads to arrest of April 21st bombing suspect

COLOMBO (News 1st): The International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) states that a 29-year-old Ahamed Milhan Hayathu Mohommad a member of the terror group responsible for the 21st April attacks was arrested based on a red notice issued by the INTERPOL. The INTERPOL further states that the red notice that was issued along with an incident response team deployed to the country was in support of the investigations carried out in Sri Lanka following the terror attack. Five suspects including Ahamed Milhan Mohomad who were arrested in the Middle East were brought down to the country yesterday (June 14) and are currently in CID custody. The Secretary-General of INTERPOL, Jürgen Stock states that they are happy to have supported the arrest and extradition of the suspects.
