All share price index and S&P positive

Colombo (News 1st): The CSE recorded a turnover of Rs. 411,682,298 today (June 11), while both stock market indexes, the All Share Price Index and the S&P SL 20 ended on a positive note today. The stock exchange yesterday recorded a turnover of Rs. 75.5 million, the second lowest turnover during this year. The lowest turnover during the year was recorded on the 4th of January this year, which amounted to Rs. 66.77 million. During the year up to 07th June 2019, the Sri Lanka rupee appreciated against the US dollar by 3.6%. The gross official reserves were estimated at US$ 6,732.4 million as at 31st May 2019. The outstanding stock of T-bills held by foreigners decreased by 2.38% during the reporting week. Accordingly, the number of treasury bills held by foreigners declined from 146,116.08.13 to 142,639.77.
