Karainagar: Two fishermen and their vessel go missing

COLOMBO (News 1st) -  Two fishermen and their vessel which set out from Karainagar have gone missing. Assistant Director of the Search Operations Unit at Department of Fisheries noted that they have already commenced search operations to ascertain the whereabouts of the vessel. He added that preparations are carried out to bring back the five fishermen who were arrested by the Pakistani Security Forces on May 26th. Meanwhile, 30 fishermen who are under the custody of Indian Security Forces are to return to the island in the next few weeks.
