Former IGP and Defence Secretary to appear before PSC today

COLOMBO (News 1st) - IGP Pujith Jayasundara who is on compulsory leave, and former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando have been summoned to appear before the Parliamentary Select Committee appointed to investigate the 04/21 terror attacks, today(June 06). They are due to appear before the committee at 11 this morning. Defence Secretary General Shantha Kottegoda, National Intelligence Chief Sisira Mendis and former Director of the TID, DIG Nalaka de Silva had testified before the PSC in the previous session. Meanwhile, the parliament is due to convene at 10.30 am this morning.
