24 hour water cut announced for the weekend

Colombo (News 1st): The National Water Supply and Drainage Board announced that the water supply to the Hokandara area will be interrupted for a period of 24 hours this weekend (From 9 am on Saturday, June 8 to 9 am on Sunday, June 9). It added that water pressure to Colombo, Dehiwala - Mount Lavinia, Kotte, Kaduwela Municipal Council areas, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa Municipal Council areas, Kotikawatta, and Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Sabha areas will be comparatively low during this period of time. In addition, the NWSDB notes that flats in Soysapura and Ratmalana will also face low water pressure during the time period. The water supply has been suspended due to a city development plan.
