Rajitha Senaratne arrives after being reappointed as Deputy Chaiperson of WHO

COLOMBO (News 1st): Minister Rajitha Senaratne who was reappointed as a Deputy Chairperson of the World Health Organization arrived in the island today (June 01). The minister was chosen for this post by 194 member nations and 35 executive member nations in Geneva, Switzerland. Several supporters arrived at the airport to welcome the minister. Speaking to his supporters the minister stated that the people of this country will understand what he has done for this country in the near future. The media unit of the Health Ministry further said that the minister stated that he hopes that his son would continue to do what he couldn't do for the health sector of this country.
