Baduraliya bomb parcel suspect handed over to CCD

COLOMBO (News 1st): A 32-year-old suspect who was arrested over the discovery of a parcel containing hand grenades from a school in Dikhenapura, Baduraliya has been handed over to the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD). Police media spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara said that the suspect is currently being detained and interrogated. The suspect, identified as a resident of Hedigalla, Baduraliya was arrested by the Baduraliya police last night (May 24). Two teams of the CCD has been deployed to Baduraliya to conduct further investigations.
