Former Defense Sec and IGP investigated by CID

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Criminal Investigations Department has launched investigations against Former Defense Secretary Hemasiri Fernando and IGP Pujith Jayasundara who has been sent on compulsory leave. According to the Police, the investigation will be carried out under the consultancy of Attorney General, Dappula de Livera. Charges have been levelled against the duo over inaction regarding the April 21st despite intelligence being available to them.
