COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Disaster Management Center stated that more than 300,000 people were affected due to the prevailing dry weather.

Assistant Director Pradeep Kodippili noted that several areas including the Northern Province are currently experiencing dry weather. He added that water is being distributed to the affected area.
