Do not be mislead by rumors - Armed forces commanders

Colombo (News1st) - The commanders of the three armed forces notes that there is no risk of a terrorist attack taking place in the country today. They noted that security around the country has been beefed up.; The commanders of the armed forces also called on the general public to carry out their day to day a activities and also to send the children to schools. Airforce Commander, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy noted that there is no need to be frightened by rumors.  Army Commander Lt. General Mahesh Senanayake called on the general public not to be misled by unconfirmed information.  Navy Commander Vice Admiral Piyal de Silva echoed the sentiments of his counterparts and called on the general public to keep faith with the armed forces and return to regular activities.
