Colombo (News 1st): Deputy Leader of the United National Party Minister Sajith Premadasa said that the need of the nation is not to point the finger at anyone. He pointed out that they should all point the fingers at themselves.
Expressing his views in Buduruwagala today (May 11), he said they are all responsible for these actions and none can escape from being responsible for what happened.
He added that while taking up responsibility, they should learn a good lesson from these international terror attacks the nation faced.
The minister expressed these views at an event to lay the foundation stone for a centre to promote tourism to the Historical Buduruwagala temple. The facility is to be built with aid from the Central Cultural Fund. The minister also paid compensation of Rs. 11.6 million to 271 farmers who were affected by the Sena caterpillar menace.
