Close associate of Zahran arrested in Kattankudy

Colombo (News 1st): A man identified as Mohammed Aliyar, who has had close contact with suicide bomber Mohammed Zahran has been arrested in Kattankudy. According to Police Media Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara, the arrested suspect - Mohammed Aliyar aged 60  is said to have engaged in financial transactions with Mohammed Zahran. The arrest was made by Kattankudy Police this evening and the suspect has been placed under detention for further investigation.
