Swords, knives and firearms discovered in Maligawatte well

Colombo (News 1st): Several weapons including swords were discovered inside a well adjacent to a mosque in close proximity to the Keththarama stadium, in Maligawatte, Colombo earlier today (May 8). Divers of the Harbour Police searched the well during a raid conducted by the Maradana Police based on a tipoff. Forty-six brand new swords manufactured in China, 12 second-hand swords, 52 knives, a firearm manufactured overseas and 5 compatible bullets were discovered in the 30 foot deep well. Police added that 15 grams of the narcotic substance ICE and 26 CDs which were stored inside a waterproof package were found inside the well. According to Police the swords discovered today, are similar to the swords found in raids of other mosques.
