Four people guilty of murder sentenced to death

Colombo (News 1st): Four defendants who were found guilty of murder have been sentenced to death by the Colombo High Court today (May 7). Indictments were filed against 5 defendants by the Attorney General for stabbing a youth to death on the December 30th, 2008 at Grandpass. However, one defendant was acquitted and released of charges by the High Court Judge Vikum Kaluarachchi.
