Reuters - Far-right fascist saluting activists clashed with police in Milan on Monday (April 29), as demonstrators gathered to commemorate the 1975 killing of a neo-fascist activist by left-wing militants. The fascist salute, as well as other forms of pro-fascist propaganda, are illegal in Italy but only when they are seen as part of an effort to revive the old Fascist Party. The Fascist Party ruled Italy from 1922 till 1943 and its leader, Benito Mussolini, was executed in Milan in 1945.
