Colombo (News1st) – State Defense Minister Ruwan Wijeywardene notes that instructions have been issued to track down and arrest individuals connected to the National Thawheed Jamath (NTJ) and Jamathei Milathu Ibrahim (JMI) organisations which have been banned.
Instructions have also been issued to the CID and the armed forces to investigate the assets and other organisations linked to NTJ and JMI.
According to the release issued by the President’s media unit, steps are also being taken to ban other extremist organisations.
