Special security protocol to ensure safety of courts islandwide

COLOMBO (News 1st) - President's Counsel, Kalinga Indatissa noted that a special security plan is in place to ensure the security of the courts across the country. He shared this information with the media following a Bar Association convention in Colombo yesterday (April 25). According to him, the security plan is to be implemented effective immediately. He recommended it was wise to accompany individuals who are absolutely necessary to be present at the courts during this crisis. He noted that during the crisis it was mandatory for all the vehicles to be inspected before entering every court premises in the country. Yet again he noted that when it comes to sensitive cases where orphaned children are concerned, the court itself would stand up to protect their future rights. He went on to add that collection of compensations in the future will also be sorted out by them, if necessary.
