Final rites of the constables killed in Sunday's attack held today

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Final rites of the police officers and several others who were the unfortunate victims of the Easter Sunday attack were carried out today(April 24). Funeral of the police constable attached to the Colombo Crimes Division, Lahiru Umesh Dulanjana was held today(April 24), sadly on his birthday. He was a resident of Galkiriyagama, Kekirawa. Final rites of nine victims of the attack at the Kochchikade St. Anthony's Shrine came to pass yesterday(April 23). The bodies were laid to rest at the public cemetery in Madampitiya. Final rites of parents and their son were also held yesterday(April 23). The funeral ceremonies of these victims were held under heavy security.
