Total of 40 people arrested over Easter explosions

Colombo (News 1st): Sri Lanka Police said a total of 40 people have been arrested over Sunday's multiple terror attacks which killed 321 people. The Police noted that these suspects are held by the Criminal Investigations Department. They were arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division, the Criminal Investigations Department and the Police Special Task Force. Meanwhile, Security Forces including the Sri Lanka Air Force, the Bomb Disposal Unit and the Sri Lanka Army carried out a series of search operations across many areas today (23). The inspections were carried out at hospitals, banks, railway stations and roads.
