Colombo (News 1st): Dimuth Karunaratne has been appointed as the captain of the Sri Lankan ODI team and will lead Sri Lanka during the upcoming World Cup.

Sri Lanka Cricket said the appointment has been approved by the Minister of Sports Harin Fernando.
