DIG Nalaka de Silva further remanded until 23rd April

Colombo (News1st) - DIG Nalaka de Silva who was in charge of the Police Terrorist Investigations Division and was arrested over an alleged plot to assassinate high profile individuals in the country was further remanded until April 23rd. In addition, the Fort Magistrate's Court ordered the Criminal Investigations Department to provide sufficient security to Namal Kumara, Operations Director of an anti-corruption outfit, under the provisions of the Protection of Victims of Crime and Witnesses Act., who revealed details of the alleged assassination plot.
