Ryan Van Rooyen remanded on charges of transporting marijuana

Colombo (News 1st): Actor Ryan Van Rooyen was remanded until April 11th by Matara Chief Magistrate and Additional District Judge Isuru Nettikumara. Ryan who was arrested along with Makandure Madush in Dubai was deported to Sri Lanka yesterday (April 4). He was interrogated by the Criminal Investigations Department and thereafter handed over to the Morawaka Police under the charges of transporting marijuana. When Ryan Van Rooyen was arrested in Dubai, Sri Lanka Police discovered marijuana inside his vehicle which was located in a hotel in Matara.
