COLOMBO (News 1st) – The National Water Supply and Drainage Board states that the water supply in several areas, including Kotte, Pitakotte, Wellawatte, Bambalapitiya and Borella will take a few more hours to be restored.

Alahudeen Ansar, Chairman of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board announced that the water supply was interrupted for 24 hours from 9 am yesterday (March 30) due to essential maintenance work.

He added that the time frame of this water cut has been extended as they are yet to complete the maintenance.
