No use of a govt. that doesn't understand the pulse of its people - Harsha de Silva

Colombo (News 1st): Construction on Sri Lanka's first ever temperature & humidity controlled warehouse complex for agriculture commenced in Dambulla today (March 30). The event was graced by the non-cabinet Minister of Economic Reforms and Public Distribution, Dr Harsha De Silva. This project has been named 'Prabhashwara'. The 5000-metric ton temperature and humidity controlled warehouse complex in the premises of the Dambulla Economic Center has been designed for storing vegetables, fruits, and other perishables to minimize post-harvest losses. Speaking at the event Minister Harsha De Silva noted that whatever is done is done. 35% of our population engages in Agriculture. He noted that there is no use of a government which does not understand the pulse of its people and who do not provide them with the necessary infrastructure. He added that one does not have to wear the national to understand the plight of the farmers.
